With over a decade of multi-faceted experience, Lindsey Berwick focuses her practice on complex business transactions involving commercial real estate, finance, and general corporate law.
Bio:
A graduate of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin (B.B.A., Finance, 2006) and St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas (J.D., cum laude, 2009), Lindsey has a diverse and expansive background in representing financial institutions and businesses (for profit and non-profit) on a wide variety of complex commercial transactions from all sides of the table. In addition to her experience in counseling clients in private practice, Lindsey has been in-house corporate counsel at one of the 50 largest U.S. banks, and is a former commercial counsel and escrow officer for one of the largest title insurance companies. Lindsey’s finance and banking practice includes representing financial institutions and borrowers on commercial real estate and construction loans, senior and subordinated commercial loan facilities, acquisition loans, asset-based lending, general working capital facilities, as well as loan workouts and modifications. She also has extensive experience in counseling and consulting with financial institutions on the development and implementation of internal policies, processes, and procedures to help mitigate legal risk and optimize company efficiency in a cost-effective manner. Her real estate practice includes advising clients on the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate.
